Annet Mahendru
Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian English, French Persian as well as Hindi. Her parents are Russian as well as Indian. In her early teens Annat Mahendru choreographed, and performed a dance which resulted in the honor of a German TV appearance. The show featured a Russian-born snow maiden that transformed into an entertaining Indian dancer. After graduating of New York's top high school, she earned her bachelor's degree in English degree at St. John's University. While in New York, she studied acting in the HB Studio. Later on she moved to Groundlings School and took up several tasks. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru, and an Russian mom Olga. When she was just 13 her parents divorced. Her father moved the household to East Meadow New York. Her most well-known role is the former KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. She played a recurring character on The Following on Fox, The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
